Come and see us
Every Friday morning that is not a walking day (see the programme) or a public holiday we meet between 10:00a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at Chirnside House, Mariners Lane, Tynemouth.click here to see a map showing where it is. Chirnside House is the modern brick building that looks like a school gymnasium and the enterance is at the back.
Bookings are taken in the office to the right of the entrance. Members can book walks as many walks as they want between 10:00 and 11:00.
Bookings for people on the waiting list and for guests of members are taken between 11:00am and 11:10am for any walks between then and the next booking day, if they aren't already fully booked. This is normally just the next walk, but if we are not open for bookings on the following Friday then there could be as many as three walks eligible for non-member booking.
Through the main room and to the left is the Millenium room. You are welcome to come along have a coffee and chat to find out more.
If you would like to go on the waiting list for membership then just come along and see us (optionally you can get an appliction form from the Downloads page to fill before you come).
